No.1 Floating Memories
From Solid to Void
Once a solid, impenetrable structure filled with oil, this former oil tank has been transformed into an open, dynamic venue for performances and gatherings. The transition from a filled, industrial container to an empty, welcoming stage exemplifies the concept of adaptive reuse. This transformation not only showcases how a previously solid space can become a functional void but also preserves the memory of its industrial past, highlighting the creative potential in repurposing old structures.
From Exterior to Interior
Transformed from a narrow exterior alley, the space now serves as a versatile indoor area, demonstrating adaptive reuse. The addition of a hood has redefined the space, blurring the distinction between exterior and interior. The original exterior wall, now an integral interior face, preserves the memory of its outdoor origins while showcasing the ingenuity of repurposing architectural elements.
